Palmengarten ...

again!
We are having a very grey, dark, grey, rainy Februrary (not today!). It is also very cold, so on Sunday there is not much joy to go for a hike. That's why a couple of weeks ago I went for a walk to the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. There is cosy and green, and if it is raining you can go inside and feel a bit tropical, even if it is still dark and grey! 💚

 First I tried to stay outside, and I sat under a evergreen tree to paint this majestic Beech tree with oil pastels which are good when it is wet and raining... but the rain didn't want to stop so I moved inside to paint more greenery and the crazy Orchideas blooming! wow, they look a bit like aliens to me...

Feliz 2019

Ay ay! I have to catch up this good whish for you all 💖, at least before January is over :D and before Spring comes... that will come, yes !!

The 2018 was a crazy year with a couple of big changes that came like surprises, some old dream coming true this year, like quitting the music lessons and making a living from my art ..  And because life is a yinyan, was not all roses in 2018..,
I am confident and optimist about this already starting 2019 and I wish also your dreams to come true. I am sure now that it can ever happen, so keep on with it!
I will also try to update ofter this blog, as I forgot it a bit due to the easiness and comfort of using Instagram, for those using it also  -->

Bürgel am Main

I always scape here with my bike, as soon as I need green and fresh air... I love this countryside landscape close to the Main river...
The fields have a color each season. Here they were covered with golden wheat.
The two shadows on the way was a horse and a young man.. just in case you wonder ;)

Erste Frühlingstage

schon ein paar Wochen her.
Die Bäume noch ohne Blättern.. aber die Osterglöckchen blühen nun nicht mehr.

Winter Ende

hier ein Aquarell Skizze vor ein paar Wochen in Ostpark, wie gewöhlich.. Nun geht alles sehr schnell, bald haben die Bäume wieder Blättern und die Landschaft verwandelt sich in ganz bunt und knalligen Farben.

Ostpark

kurz vor den Weihnachten, ein sehr trüber und kalter Sonntag nachmittags... alle schon etwas dunkel, dunkel lila, malva, braun und rosa.

Bürgel am Main

und da, in der Mitte der zahmen Winter Landschaft, die dunkle grüne Eibe... wenn alle schon golden und nackt ist. Die Vögel freuen sich bestimmt auf sie...

Sonntag sind einsame Tage, besonders abends. Das Ende einer Woche, wie das Ende eines Monats, eines Jahres, eines Leben.. haben etwas sehr melancolisch, da am liebsten geht man draussen in Natur bis man müde und gefüllt mit schönen Blicken und frische Luft ist, dann kehrt man froh und unbewusst wieder heim. So mache ich es.

riesig, grün und silberig in Mainufer - auf die Offenbach Höhe nochmal - ... Sie bauen eine so schöne zitternde Mauer, und abends wann die Sonne ganz tief ist,  spiegelt jedes kleine Blatt das goldene Licht des Mains hinaus, und es fühlt sich wie es Gesang oder Tanz wäre..

Los álamos, enormes, verdes y plateados a la orilla del Main (otra vez a la altura de Offenbach).. Construyen un muralla tintineante tan bonita! y a última hora de la tarde, cuando el sol más bajo está,  cada hojita refleja la luz dorada del Main y parece como un canto o una danza..

Ein Blick aus den Grüneburgpark, in ein extrem heißem Juli Tag. Der Europaturm scheint zwischen den Bäumen. Ja, es erinnert mich immer an den Alexanderplatz und den Berliner Fernsehturm.. der aber viel schöner ist, dann bekomme ich Sehnsucht.

El Retiro, Madrid

De camino a Asturias en estas pasadas Pascuas, pasé como un suspiro por Madrid, que apenas conozco.

Además del cocido y rabo de toro, el parque del Retiro fue con diferencia lo que más me gustó.. qué majestuoso, avenidas de arena clara y cipreses, los antiguos puestos de pipas y frutos secos que rememoran otros tiempos..  al Norte naves de arquitectura decimonónica, rodeadas de altísimos y escultóricos pinos romanos, y el cielo arriba tan azul castellano...  un oasis en la apestada de tráfico y ruidosa capital.

Schöner Herbst, alle rot, golden gelb... Buchen, Birken, Eichen, Pappel, oh! so leuchtend Gelb in Ferne und Nähe, auch auf die Erde... die letzte Blätter hängen noch.

Montags Friede

im Hauptfriedhof in Nordend.

Los lunes por la tarde, entre clase y clase, tengo algo de tiempo... Y como coincide que entre clase y clase, paso por cerca del cementerio, si no hace mucho frío entro allí a pasear o sentarme en un banco a meditar.. o leer, o dibujar.. y entregarme simplemente a su paz. Es el cementerio inmenso de arbolado majestuoso del que hace unos meses os hablé...
Ya empieza poco a poco a otoñar...  Estaba muy húmedo y fresco, y unos mosquitos como demonios me picaron a través del vaquero mientras dibujaba..
