Caretos Sculpture
And what if the loved Caretos inside my head (or my heart?) come out this time not in paper, but as a 3D shape?
I made those this Saturday, we have got a terribly raining and grey morning, perfect to sit at my terrace and squeeze my fingers in the damp clay...

Hotel "Speicherstadt"
About one month ago I went to Hamburg for the Opening of this Ameron Hotel, in Speicherstadt.
I felt very happy watching the paintings that I did last July for them, which hang at the lobby.
Do you remember them? I nearly got crazy!
The room decoration is so cosy, a cheese cake was waiting for me, the evening catering was also delicious, so nice and cheerful welcoming! The views out of the room, with this typical grey hamburg sky, were also very charming. I could have stayed there a couple of days still ;)
Hace algo más de un mes fui a Hamburgo a la inauguración del Hotel Speicherstadt, de Ameron. Me hizo mucha ilusión ver mis pinturas en el vestíbulo y salón de la entrada en vivo, esos dibujos que casi me vuelve majareta!
La recepción fue muy acogedora: la decoración cálida de la habitación, tarta de queso, catering delicioso de la noche, y las vistas bonitas al exterior del hotel, pese al húmedo y oscuro cielo hamburgués... me podría haber quedado un par de días más ;)

Paintings for FINE ROOMS
"FINE-ROOMS" studio developed the decoration concept for this Hotel in Hamburg.
My paintings are already hanging at the wall and I like it!
I love the cosy and elegant atmosphere, the warmth of the wood and colors they chose and the vintage air.

Mein Teil der Wand
von der Lange Nacht..
Esta vez me decidí por exponer las acuarelas más oníricas... ya que se trataba de una exposición nocturna.
Algunas imágenes de la velada las podéis ver aquí.
Y aquí debajo las organizadoras en nuestro atelier, de izda a dcha. Steffi, Catalina, Alisa. Una polaroid "fujiroid" ( es decir, una tipo polaroid pero de fuji) que nos hizo Martín! gracias!

Hacía también mucho que no os traía nada de esta serie algo burlesca.. que sigue viva y adelante, sí .
Son respiros divertidos que me tomo entre las grandes dosis de concentración en los dibujos realistas.. como los paisajes o bodegones.
