Como últimamente, repetimos unas Navidades bañadas en un dulce sol de Diciembre...

A Christmas evening

as it is being usual the last years, we have got a very nice weather in Asturias for Christmas.
It was so gently that I could go at least twice a day for a walk. And guess where? to my beloved fields and Pine woods that you might already know from this blog :)
Nearly exactly from this point of view, I made another outdoors watercolor last Summer... go a bit below or click HERE to see it. You recognize it, don't you? Only the evening light of Winter makes a difference.

Como está siendo habitual los últimos años, hemos tenido un tiempo muy bueno en Asturias por Navidad. Tan bueno que salía a pasear al menos dos veces al día. Y adivinad dónde? pues por mis queridos campos y pinar, que ya conoceréis por este blog.
Y casi exactamente con este punto de vista hice en verano otra acuarela, podéis verla un poco más abajo o clicando AQUÍ. La reconocéis no? solo la luz de un anochecer de invierno hace la diferencia.

Pine Woods N.3- Atlantic Summer

In a hot August midday, when the pines resin are smelling the strongest. That warm characteristic pine fragrance which evokes me the summer... the walks through this loose and wild pine forest, the red and soft ground rustling under my steps.

En un caluroso mediodía de Agosto, cuando la resina de los pinos huele más fuerte. Ese cálido y característico olor a pino que me evoca el verano.. los paseos por este dejado pinar, con el rojo y mullido suelo crujiendo a mis pasos.

El Miguelete

Here is the most well-known tower of Valencia, with its graceful figure. This is a view from the square Plaza de la Virgen.

It was a very hot Monday morning, I met with the urban sketcher fellow Esperanza, and we were very busy looking for shadows where we could rest and draw, if possible with an interesting perspective too.

La emblemática torre valenciana, de graciosa proporción, vista desde la Plaza de la Virgen.
Era un Lunes por la mañana, y me encontré con la Urban Sketcher valenciana Esperanza para dibujar. El calor ya apretaba y fuimos buscando como locas sombras donde poder pararse a dibujar, a ser posible con perspectivas interesantes.

It is now 2 weeks ago that I came from my holidays in Valencia and Asturias... and directly landed to Berlin I got terribly sick. Now I am scanning the drawings and sketches from my spanish holidays and wandering with nostalgia about Summer and Spain..
