Sauces y patos

Muchísimos patos de diferentes familias, como si fuesen rebaños de ovejas pastando, pero en lugar de ovejas, patos... a las orillas del estanque en Ostpark. Otro nostálgico atardecer. Porque me olía a agua dulce, a lago, y me recordaba los primeros veranos en Berlin.. Están por descubrir los lagos de Hessen, un poco más escondidos quizás... os informaré en cuanto los conozca..

Sbahn Störungen

In Berlin the underground and regional train were not the best... but in Frankfurt they are a Katastrophe!
Yesterday it took me over two hours to get home. I worked somewhere out the city, a place among the wheat and raps fields.. I always take the bike in the train and then I ride... if I knew it, I would have ride all the way back home! but once in the train, it was a prison... so I passed the time by looking at the travelers. No one seemed to be worried or hurried.. thanks that they had their smart-phones with :D

En Berlin el transporte público no era lo mejor... pero en Frankfurt es una catástrofe!

Ayer tardé más de dos horas en volver a casa.. trabajo en un colegio entre campos de trigo y colza.. . voy con la bici en el tren y luego pedaleo hasta allá. Si hubiese sabido que el tren se colgaría ahí tanto tiempo habría vuelto en bici hasta casa. Pero una vez dentro del tren, me quedé prisionera. Nadie parecía preocuparse ni tener prisa... menos mal que tenían sus teléfonos! :)

Grünanlage

is a long green park as a sinuous snake following the path where the medieval walls closed the old city
Here is the Eschenheimer Anlage at evening. People walk trough this green belt better than through the streets. They sit in the banks and chat or eat the evening sandwich after work, and play table-tennis. Elder trees were covered by their lemon smelly, plate flowers..

Lilas

Dark or light purple, violet, white, more blue or more magenta nuances, but all in the lilac's range, and all smelling like sweet honey, bee's dream... just a couple of weeks has lasted this lilacs explosion..

Morado oscuro o claro, violeta, blanco, con matices más azulados o magenta, pero todos en la gama lila, y oliendo a miel dulce, sueños de abejas.. solo un par de semanas duró esta explosión lila..

Günthersburgpark

At the evening light. At the south side of this bornheimer park, by this enormous platanus, some people -me among- gather together, talk, drink and play frisbee once a week.. if the weather allows it!

A la luz de atardecer. En el lado sur de este parque en Bornheim, junto a este enorme plátano, un grupo de gente (yo entre ellos) se reúne una vez a la semana a charlar, beber, jugar al frisbee... si el tiempo lo permite! mes de Mayo frío, ventoso y lluvioso!

Rhododendron mauve II

And here you don't have to imagine its real color anymore.... so mauve as this, pure mauve. Perfect and delicate.. But no smell at all. So I prefer roses,  the shape of their bushes, their nuances and tender fragility.

Rhododendron mauve I

After the lilacs (I am bringing them too!), the Rhododendron started blooming. 
And it depends which color they are, they bloom earlier or later. This mauve was one of the first. Still full with flowers, but not for much longer... 

Parlament Platz

El viernes salí tarde de trabajar. El aire se había tornado cálido y cargado de olores. No tenía ganas de entrar en casa y fui rezagando la vuelta... a unos pocos metros de casa me senté en un banco de la plaza vecina, a disfrutar de la llegada de la noche y la vista de este inmenso fresno que reina imponente en la plaza. Sus hojas menudas recortadas en racimos me evocaban cuadros góticos y grabados medievales..
Y los colores se fundían y empastaban ya todos en la suave luz vespertina... era hora de recoger.

Ostpark

Es el parque más cerca de mi casa.. siguiendo la calle que subiendo un poquito, luego bajando, se derrama al final en el verde. Me gusta mi calle soleada y sin tráfico.. y como un poco pueblerina..
El Ostpark tiene una planicie muy grande con estanque, y al principio un pequeñito jardín más frondoso y vallado, como botánico, sin pretensión, con un riachuelo sinuoso discurriendo entre pinos, alisos y abedules..

Ostpark is the park more next to my place.. just following the street, upwards and then downwards, spilling at the end in the green. I like my sunny and traffic-free street, like a bit provincial.
The Ostpark has a big green field with a pond, but at the beginning it has also a leafy and fenced little garden, like a botanical garden without ambitions, with a stream flowing between pines, birches and alder trees.

Globeboot

en Langener Waldsee, 

un lago a una hora en bici al Sur de Frankfurt (aproximadamente y si no te pierdes por el camino, como nos pasó unas cuantas veces). Había un evento organizado por Gobetrotter de deportes al aire libre y podías probar kayaks, canoas, botes de vela, etc..  Hizo un día espléndido. El lago es vasto, con una gran playa de arena y aguas limpias.. y un poco muertas. Pues es un lago artificial, con una fábrica arenera o qué se yo al horizonte...  remamos hasta una plataforma flotante cercana. Yo juraba ver mejillones y percebes agarrados en el bajo.. y quisquillas revoloteando pero no... ni un pez vi... ni un renacuajo.. y echaba de menos el olor a salitre... y en fin, el mar.

Lohrberg in Seckbach

last Sunday I was wandering with my bike just around, trying to know better the area where I am now living. I went further and further, and crossed under the highway to reach the other side, where Seckbach is. An old, carefully maintened village very close to Frankfurt. I climbed up (not so easy with bike) to the top of a hill, the Lohrberg park. Up there you could see the whole Frankfurt city skyline... though it was not that what I drew, but the fields skyline and the kind sheeps down in the valley...

Winter end

Final del Invierno. Todavía frío, un domingo por la tarde, en el parque vecino que ya alguna vez dibujé. Los domingos de invierno están cargados de melancolía y tedio. Y para no sumergirme en ellos salgo a caminar, a encontrar los últimos rayos de luz que son el consuelo y el mañana.
Y por fin se alargan los días y calienta el sol..
