Ich mag sehr diese Kletterpflanze, besonders wenn sie blüht: die limette Farbe an ihren delikate Blümchen, mit Schuppen gestaltet, so wie ein Fisch.

Yes, another year..  Did you already see those at your place? Do it quickly, they are so beautiful and blooming is nearly over!

Acacia Koa

A client from Canada asked me to draw an Acacia blossom. It was a great idea, and I did it with pleasure.. I love acacias, mimosas, blooming in yellow and smelling so fresh.. They appeal me to my childhood, the Grandma's house, the primary school... And this souvenirs brought me a bit of warmth and sun in these extremely obscure and grey days... the shorter time of the year... 
Spring, here we go!

Una clienta de Canadá me encargó el dibujo de una rama de Acacia Koa florida. Fue una buena idea, y lo hice con gusto! En estos días tan cortos, grises y oscuros, me vinieron imágenes de la floración de acacias y mimosas, los pompones amarillos, la frescura de su olor, me acordé de la casa de mi abuela y de mi infancia en el colegio.. Aquí vamos, Primavera!

Rápido rápido salid a buscarlas que les queda muy poco de floración!

No sé como transmitiros en dibujos lo sublimes que están ahora los magnolios, en plena floración! De blanco inmaculado o rosa pigmentado! Esta especie no sé cómo se llama, es la más arbustiva y aún sin hojas, florece de golpe como un regalo del cielo! ( la otra especie, grandiflora, florece paulatinamente, entre las hojas oscuras sus grandes flores, más escasas pero de mucho más olor, un olor exquisito!)

 

No esperéis a que se desnuden! Salid ahora al encuentro de uno de estos magnolios por vuestra ciudad, es un espectáculo que merece la pena.
