Me quedan aún algunos post del verano... y el invierno que está llegando tan rápido.. -y yo, que no quiero!-

o algún recoveco entre acantilados antes de llegar...
Creo que la foto debería estar en sepia para emparejar mejor ;) pero los colores no eran tan límpidos, con el típico cielo cantábrico.. y el papel de por sí ya es un poco beige.

Asturias IV - El Pinar

Siguen surgiendo acuarelas veraniegas.. mientras los días se acortan y enfrían...
Y ahí estaba yo hace un par de semanas, sentada entre la hierba alta y oyendo el mar a mis espaldas.. ach man!warum ist der Sommer so kurz?
La cosa peluda a mis pies no es una rata, es un perrito, Spree, el mini Dackel.

Again the pinewoods by the coast, where I love to sit and draw. My brother took some pics so you can see how messy my painting spot is ;) I love to hide in the high grass and hear the sea behind.

Atlantic Summer

You may guess I am back in Asturias for the Summer holidays.. I feel good out of the city and enjoying the coast, salty wind, wild sea and the pinetrees scent over the cliffs. Drawings will come at the end of August! Happy Summer you all!

Ahora sí, la última acuarela de estas soleadas Navidades en Asturias. La serena y recogida playa de Santa María del Mar... subiendo la marea!

Yes, the last pictures of Christmas in Asturias.. and excuse me, again this view. I love to sit there, my back protected from the North wind and looking to the kind cap at the West. It was windy, the light changed all time, sometimes falling shinny and clear-yellow over the rocks, sometimes deep and dark..

of Salinas's beach. After a couple of hours they were smelling so bad. I think some of them were still alive inside :S

Asturian fields

A tender ancient beach in western of Asturias, atlantic coast with typical lighting grey sky.
Una tierna y antigua playa al oeste asturiano, costa atlántica con típico cielo de un luminoso gris.

And the same coast forest, a bit more near the coast line (you see the sea at the horizon?) and with a cloudy, stormy day light, typical atlantic.

El mismo bosque costero, un poco más cerca de la línea de mar (lo veis, tras los pinos, al horizonte?) y con una luz de día nublado y tormentoso.. típico atlántico.

did you think I skipped the summer in Asturias? of course not. I jumped from mediterranean heat to atlantic freshness :)

Creías que me había perdido el verano asturiano? claro que no! Salté del calor mediterráneo al frescor atlántico :)

Aquí algunas acuarelas, comenzando por el pinar costero a mediodía

Atlantic rage

Furia atlántica.

Ahí  enfrente estaba sentada, en diciembre, un viento rudo soplando y oliendo a sal, las olas bravas e incontenibles chocando en todas las direcciones, entre ellas, contra las rocas, saltando babas blancas al cielo como efervescentes.
No pude reflejarlo en este dibujo... demasiado dinamismo para captar de golpe in situ.
pero .. de dónde puede salir tanta fuerza, tanta rabia, de pronto, como un ser vivo y unidad autónoma...

Y Feliz 2013!!

Hace más de una semana que volví de Asturias... y desde entonces no he vuelto a ver un trocito de cielo azul! Es cierto que tampoco se puede presumir de que Asturias tenga el mejor (o más soleado) clima de España, pero estas Navidades volvieron a ser templaditas y luminosas... Y con mar, y verde, y dunas y pinos... oh! paraiso!
Aquí tres acuarelas que me dió tiempo a hacer.
