Oberrad

A sunny day in Winter I went with my bike to an area I have never been before: Oberrad. Actually not far away at all, but somehow isolated because of the highway and train rails. It was very rural and charmant and I enjoyed drawing there with the early Spring light in the sky.

Palmengarten Frankfurt

A sunny, Summer Sunday morning at the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. I went for a guided visit on the subject "Palmtrees". It was very interesting, afterwords I make a walk through the gardens and sketched a little bit. With watercolors and with black ball pen.
Also I went inside the greenhouse to draw some tropical plants. I will bring you soon some more to keep faith and strenght over this grey year time!

Wildenbruch Platz

in Neukölln, Berlin.
Do you remember it? It is not the first time I draw it ;)
A late evening, a hot and delicious summer air, a last, golden light filtering trough the fresh green leaves.. And very relaxed people sitting in circles and chilling out, no more tasks, day is nearly over. In the same mood I sat down and drew... I forgot the black pencil, that's why it is blue, but not my mood :)

Os acordáis? no es la primera vez que la dibujo.
Al final de la tarde, un delicioso y cálido aire de verano, una última, dorada luz filtrándose tras las frescas hojas verdes... y grupos de gente muy relajada sentándose en círculo, perezosas, no más faenas, el día ya ha casi acabado. En el mismo humor estaba yo, que me senté a dibujar... pero se me olvidó el lápiz negro y por eso dibujé en azul.. no porque estuviese mi humor especialmente melancólico :)

Mauer weg

Berlin, the way along where the berliner wall stayed.. not so many years ago. Now is a green and very quiet place where I go walking and writing my thoughts while I hear the spring birds. This time my thoughts were baptized by the rain that came suddenly when I was somewhere, not far away from my notebook which stayed open.. The weather is so unpredictable these days! in one minute changes from blue sky to dark and compact clouds ...

Mirlo cantarín, pero muy relajado, entre gorgorito y gorgorito se acicalaba muy afanosamente.

A lo largo de este camino se alzaba el muro de Berlín, no hace mucho tiempo.. Ahora es un paseo muy verde y muy tranquilo por donde camino con placer y escribo mis pensamientos mientras oigo los cánticos primaverales de los pájaros. Esta vez fueron mis notas bautizadas por la lluvia. No muy lejos andaba yo de mi bloc, que dejé abierto, cuando repentinamente llegó el agua. Últimamente está el tiempo totalmente impredecible, tan pronto el cielo azul raso, que en un minuto se vuelve una masa compacta de nubes oscuras...

ist ein sehr schön und ruhiger Bezirk. Hier noch mal ein Blick unter ein abendlichem Himmel.

Britz is a very beautiful and quiet neighbourhood of Berlin Neukölln. Here again a look with an evening sky.

Britz es un barrio muy bonito y tranquilo de Neukölln, Berlin. Aquí de nuevo una vista bajo un cielo vespertino.

Abendliche Stimmung in Hasenheide Park

noch mal.
Evening feeling at Hasenheide Park in Neukölln. After work, and so long it is still some golden light at the bottom of the big sky, I go walking and stay a bit in Hasenheide, a Park near home.

 Cuando acabo de trabajar y la noche aún no se ha echado encima, y una franjita de luz dorada aún ilumina el bajo del cielo inmenso, voy a Hasenheide, un parque cerca de casa, a caminar o sentarme a contemplar esa luz de ocaso y quizás hacer algún apunte como estos.

Windy evening in Görlitzerpark

Windig Abend in Görlitzerpark.

Hace unas semanas atravesé el Görlitzerpark poco antes de anochecer. Soplaba un viento tremendo y en el cielo transparente  y vespertino se aglomeraban masas de nubes en franjas pesadas y opacas. No llevaba las acuarelas, solo algunos lapiceros de colores, pero me tuve que parar un par de minutos para intentar reflejar ese poniente amarillo y tormentoso luchando para que el viento no me llevase a mí y mi libreta con él.

Lila und gelbe Tulpen.

Tulipanes lilas y amarillos en la mesa de la cocina, dibujados en papel tipo ingres con mina negra. Un manojo lila y otro amarillo mezclados. De qué color es cada uno, queda a vuestra imaginación ;)

Hasenheide Experiment

Escaneando por error en grises me gustó el resultado y decidí darle algunos toques de color con photoshop, como antiguamente se coloreaban imágenes en blanco y negro.

El Miércoles pasado fui a dibujar al Akt Salon en Prenzlauerberg. Hacía mucho tiempo que no dibujaba desnudo!  no me acordaba de la paz que da. El silencio y la concentración reinan en la sala, ambientada con música y olor a té de jengibre.
