A couple of months ago there was a Urbansketchers meeting in Aschaffenburg, a very nice city in Bavaria close to Frankfurt and along the Main River.
Even if it was quite cold and windy, we got to make a few sketches. Here is my contribution.

 After sketching outside, we went to the mythic Schlappeseppel brewery to eat some Wurst mit Kraut and drink some.. Bier of course 😋

Fussball Nächte

Sind nun durch und vorbei. Ich habe es kaum geguckt, nur wenn ich vorbei kam, in Main Ufer auf den Wiese. Da waren die besten Plätze und die schönste und entspanntest Atmosphäre... Bildschirm waren mir aber nicht so wichtig :)  Olé Portugal!

The football evenings are -luckly- over.. This time I didn't watcht it so serious, just by dropping at the Main shore, where the ambient was more charming and nice.. the screen was not so interesting to me as the spectators around it though..  Congrats Portugal!

Artconnect, Community Clash #4

In Prachtwerk, a high ceiling, beautiful decorated café in Berlin, Neukölln.

The artist meeting. 

Many hipsters, many, many, all of them! (only me not :P)

A very nice Illustration exhibition.. and the best the psychedelic musics with flowered clothes, all same pattern (it made me think on "The Sound of Music"). I am learning now that two of them are sibilings: 
Stereofysh  was their name... They were having so much fun! I was infected by their laughing too.


Encuentro de artistas en el bonito café de techos altos Prachtwerk, en Neukölln.
Muchos hipsters, muchos muchos! todos ellos! ( salvo yo! :P)
Una exposición de ilustraciones muy bonita y unos músicos en el escenario, psicodélicos ellos y la música, con uniforme florido, todos ellos el mismo, que me recordó a "Sonrisas y lágrimas". Dos de ellos hermanos, estaba claro! Stereofysh se llamaban, y lo estaban pasando tan bien, que me contagiaron la risa.

Open Air Gallery in Oberbaumbrücke

This Sunday the 2th Juni, Kreuzberg, Berlin.
I will be there the whole day, with lots of drawings and watercolours from Berlin, Asturias, botanical motifs and other subjects. I am still working a lot choosing them and fitting them in frames or, and passepartous.. But it is worthing! So come by if you are in Berlin!

Akademie der Künste

hace unas semanas, a mitad de Enero, en un oscuro, ventoso y horripilante Domingo por la tarde, Laura, Felipe y yo quedamos en el vestíbulo de este lugar para dibujar. Había una exposición temporal sobre un actor comediante, Mario Adorf... me da un poco de vergüenza decir que  no le había visto en mi vida... y creo que Laura tampoco .. así que la exposición nos era un poco indiferente y nos sentamos en el vestíbulo abierto, frío, y gris a  dibujar...

 Esque la arquitectura moderna no suele ser acogedora... y el entorno de Postdamerplatz o Brandenburger Tor, tampoco.. Ay! con qué ganas entré después en casa!

Son todo las calles que frecuento, siempre que puedo bordeando el Canal.

Otro de mis rincones favoritos en la vecindad.
Tiendecitas de compraventa, heladería con piano, cafés con menú del día, fachadas bonitas, calzada ancha y luminosa, y allí al fondo, puente sobre el Canal.
Más no puedo pedir!

In der Weg nach Schöneberg

Desde Neukölln, crucé por Tempelhof para llegar a Schöneberg. En el camino vuelta me paré a dibujar este edificio bonito, un cine llamado Columbia, en la Columbiadamm, construido por los americanos en el los años 50, y a grosso modo el antiguo aeropuerto.

INBOX12 in Berlin

Inbox12 bringt schöne Postkarten von verschiedene Stätten, gezeichnet bei verschiedenen Illustratoren... Dieses Mal die Zielstadt war Berlin, und sie haben in der Laden "Multilayer", Adalberstrasse 4 (Kreuzberg), das Projekt vorgestellt. Es war ganz nett und die Band Grimon hat es noch köstlicher gemacht! :)
