You can visit the cosy Café close to the Frankfurter Cathedral, have a nice brunch, meal or coffee pot, and look at the pictures that hang at the walls. There are 21 original watercolors and oil paintings of flowers and veggies, and 4 Prints of my more modern botanical series "Foliage".

"Hessens größtes Kunstzentrum ATELIERFRANKFURT (AF) öffnet wieder seine Türen. Drei Tage lang sind die Besucher während der OPEN STUDIOS eingeladen, auf 6 Stockwerken hinter 130 Ateliertüren zu schauen und die Arbeitswelt von etwa 200 Künstlern, Kreativen und Kulturschaffenden zu erleben.

Ein vielseitiges, interdisziplinäres Programm aus bildender Kunst, Performance, Literatur und Musik begleitet das Wochenende der offenen Ateliers und die Kantine im Atelierfrankfurt sowie die RAMPE - Bar im Atelierfrankfurt laden zum Verweilen, Speisen und Trinken ein. "

Atelierfest in Traben-Trarbach

Die Künstlerin Christine Fröhlich macht offene Tür in ihrem Atelier, wo ich auch ein paar botanische Zeichnungen ausstellen werde.

This Saturday the 23rd September I am going to Traben-Trarbach, a town by the river Mosel.. The artist Christine Fröhlich make a fest at her Atelier and she invited me to show some botanical drawings. I hope to see you there! you can also taste the delicious wine of the area! ;)

Open Ateliers Frankfurt - 13th and 20th August

On Sunday the 13th August the 4th and 6th floor in Atelier Frankfurt will be open.

I will be in the room 4.16 and I am happy to see many friends and visitors!

Offene Ateliers Frankfurter Kunstsommer Open Doors ›› 13.+20.8. Atelierfrankfurt, 12-18 Uhr, www.atelierfrankfurt.de
Im Rahmen des ersten Frankfurter Kunstsommers, der sich auf die Fahnen geschrieben hat, die freie Kunstszene Frankfurts und die hier lebenden und arbeitenden Künstlerinnen und Künstler einem breiteren Publikum vorzustellen, öffnet das Atelierfrankfurt an zwei Tagen im August erneut seine Pforten. Das Atelierfrankfurt ist eines der größten Kunstquartiere Deutschlands. An zwei Tagen im Spätsommer öffnen die Künstler ihre Ateliers auf ihren jeweiligen Etagen und laden die Besucher in ihre Arbeitsräume ein. Im Atelier des Künstlers Johannes Kriesche liest die Offenbacher Lyrikerin Katharina Eismann am 13. August (14 Uhr) Gedichte vor, die teilweise vom Frankfurter Osthafen inspiriert wurden. Kriesche ist einer der drei zeitgenössischen Künstler der Ausstellung „Apokalypse des Realen“, die am 23. August im Atelierfrankfurt startet. Gemeinsam mit Federico Rosa und Gabriel Stoian möchte er mit seinen Arbeiten die Gesellschaft für Probleme sensibilisieren. In ihren Werken hinterfragen sie visuell das Reale und setzen es mit einer Apokalypse gleich. Auch Künstler und Kreative im Frankfurter Westen laden in ihre Studios ein. Das Gelände der ehemaligen Druckfarbenfabrik Dr. Carl Milchsack hat sich in eine „mehrdimensionale Kulturfabrik“ verwandelt. Von 16 bis 19 Uhr können Besucher durch die offenen Ateliers schlendern und Einblicke in den Schaffungsprozess der Künstler erhaschen. Fotografien von Niko Neuwirth und die Klanginstallation „Klangsackerl“ von Sylvia Necker bespielen den Hof des Milchsackgeländes. Um 20 Uhr startet das Livekonzert der Darmstädter Band „Messer Brüder“, auf deren musikalischer Agenda Electronic Garagerock steht, bevor es ab 22 Uhr „Film ab!“ heißt. Ein Foodtruck versorgt die Kunstinteressierten mit Snacks und Drinks. Die Veranstaltung findet in Kooperation mit dem Frankfurter Kultursommer 2017 und Gutleut-Tagen 4.0 statt und möchte auch explizit Familien einladen.

CHIC!

ist der Name einer Ausstellung in Hessisches Landesmuseum Darmstadt, wo Kleidung aus dem 17. Jahrhundert zu sehen sind. Die Urban Sketchers Community aus Rhein Main Gebiet waren eingeladen vor der Eröffnung, um durch Skizzen es zu dokumentieren und unter eigenem Blick zu interpretieren.
Die Atmosphäre war dunkel und schlicht, trotz der Bilder die in Wand hangen und des eleganten Wandpapiers. In Glass Vitrinen standen die Kleidung und Schmücken, wie goldene Käfer, voll raffinierten und köstlich gearbeitet..

El pasado miércoles 13 de Julio fuimos invitados (Urban Sketchers del Rhein, Main) por el Museo de Hessen en Darmstadt para dibujar y documentar la actual exposición: CHIC! Se trata de vestimentas, zapatos, accesorios del siglo XVII. La atmósfera era oscura y austera pese al lujoso papel de pared y los cuadros que decoraban e ilustraban la época. Las piezas en vitrinas de cristal parecían una colección de escarabajos preciosos y dorados.

Creative World

It is now exactly one week ago, on Sunday the 31th January, that I went to the Bloggers Meeting by Hahnemühle Stand, in the Frankfurter Fair "Paper World". 

Surprise!!! raspberry-choco muffin... yummi!

It was a very interesting and funny meeting, we tested some new products during the watercolor workshop with Audry Backs.

I was also glad to meet my friend Omar who was in the Caran D'Ache Stand and I haven't seen since a long time ago. He also showed me some new products of the brand, I loved the waterbrush!

I came back full of new equipment! I have now papers and sketchbooks for a long time! :D
Thanks Hahnemühle for the nice day and the curious explanation about the history of the firma and the making-paper process. I am now even more fan!

Hahnemühle in "Creative World"

Yes!  I am so happy! 
I have won a ticket for the Bloggers meeting in Hahnemühle Stand at the "Creative World", in Frankfurter Fair for Sunday the 31st January! I am very looking forward to meet the other artist and to test all the wonderful papers and material of this brand (which, by the way and truely, has my favorite paper and sketchbooks ever!)

Some pics of the exhibition "Movimientos -Bewegungen"

Two weeks ago I was back in Berlin to prepare my exhibition "Movimientos".  I was glad to be back in Berlin, and sad of being back for such a short time...
But we did it! We framed the pictures and hung them all the day before Opening! Thanks for the help to Bastian, to Nouria, Veronika, Michael, Lothar, and all the great people and artists working in "Studio Bildende Kunst", from Kulturring in Lichtenberg.

The exhibition is still running until April, so you can still visiting it..... and those who didn´t come to Opening, I am waiting for you in the Finissage, on Thursday the 2th April, at 19.00!  Don't forget!! :)

"Movimientos"

Is the name of my upcomming Exhibition in Berlin, from.. TODAY! 26th February, until the 2th April.

It is a mixture of "live" drawings, what for me MOVEMENT can mean:
 unfinished works, still breathing process,
 works made outdoors while light is changing
 or abstract works which deal is to create some forces
 or movement on the paper...











The house is warm and sweet. An old, squared, jugendstil Villa. Dark red briks outside, many wood inside, beautiful parkets and ornamented ceilings.
And it is inside a strange, East German, platenbau collective living.. A big contrast that also creates forces and movement.

I am sorry for anouncing this so late and short term, but I am having a horrible, too busy time since new year! I just moved again and still have no Internet at home! *~*

Hotel "Speicherstadt"

About one month ago I went to Hamburg for the Opening of this Ameron Hotel, in Speicherstadt. 
I felt very happy watching the paintings that I did last July for them, which hang at the lobby. 
Do you remember them? I nearly got crazy!

The room decoration is so cosy, a cheese cake was waiting for me, the evening catering was also delicious, so nice and cheerful welcoming! The views out of the room, with this typical grey hamburg sky, were also very charming. I could have stayed there a couple of days still ;)

 Hace algo más de un mes fui a Hamburgo a la inauguración del Hotel Speicherstadt, de Ameron. Me hizo mucha ilusión ver mis pinturas en el vestíbulo y salón de la entrada en vivo, esos dibujos que casi me vuelve majareta!
La recepción fue muy acogedora: la decoración cálida de la habitación, tarta de queso, catering delicioso de la noche, y las vistas bonitas al exterior del hotel, pese al húmedo y oscuro cielo hamburgués... me podría haber quedado un par de días más ;)

Performing Telemann

Sa. 12th July at 17.00
I will be performing again this Saturday (tomorrow!) with life watercolor drawings! At open air, under Berlin sky!
This time classic music, one of the 12 Fantasias for Violin Solo by Telemann, which will be played in:

 the Dachkonzert N°6

Wartburgstrasse 52, 10823 Berlin Schöneberg. 

Entry is at 16.30 and concert will start at 17.00.
